My name is Guillaume, you will find my astronomical sketches on this site. 

I draw what I observe through the eyepiece of my telescope.

The drawing is more authentic than the photo,  it transcribes the objects of the night sky with more fidelity than the photograph. Indeed, with long exposures, astronomical photography reveals details and colors that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Fooling astronomers who want to get started. In fact, they are often disappointed. The drawing is therefore more acurate and realistic to what we really observes as an amateur astronomer with a telescope, and this is where it takes on its full meaning.

If you feel like it, I'll take you with me for a ride in the deep sky, this neighbor so close to us and yet so distant. A journey into the cosmos that surrounds us and yet we forget all too often in our city lives today...
